Cons: No distortion, reverb, or effects

I've used this amp for jazz gigs, restaurants, noisy bars, playing for dancers, parties. I love it. Very clean tone, no feedback issues. I play a 17" archtop with a Bartolini pickup, and an acoustic with a Schertler pickup. They both sound great. Not suited to your loud blues or rock gig, but for just about anything else, it's great. And only 11.5 lbs!

This is a really nice amp. The sound is very clean, and seems pretty flat across the spectrum. People love the sound of it. The 3 tone controls are excellent. It is not super loud, but it's loud for its size. It's ridiculously small, light and portable. It's also extremely well made!! I'm using it with a Carvin AE185 acoustic-electric guitar and it sounds great with the acoustic or magnetic pickups or blended. I only use it for neighborhood jam sessions but I think it would work well for small club or coffee house gigs, as long as you don't have to compete with a drum kit or another instrument with a big amp. Although it's a tad expensive, I'm still giving it 5 stars for value because of its quality, and its small size and weight make it uniquely versatile, and the gig bag is a plus.
