Argentine strings

Great strings. Would love to see a super bulk Oder option; there's a discount for buying a pack of five, but what about a bit more for 10, and then a tad bit more for ordering 20? Would be helpful to those who play (and thus) order a lot/frequently.

Pros: The right sound and feel

Cons: Still not inexpensive

After trying virtually every type of gypsy guitar string, I find myself returning, again, to the Argentine sets. They are the benchmark for sound, feel and longevity. I give the 4 out of 5, because there's always hope for improvement.

Hey, Argentine string are THE original since Django. They hold the tune once tuned and the sound is the real one. My teacher is involved in the Django Reinhardt-family and played with Joseph. He plays only Argentine, because they're the best.

Pros: great sounding strings, great price

I've been using Argentine strings for years, and had great experience purchasing in bulk from djangobooks. The phone service was excellent when I needed assistance placing the online order and the strings arrived in my mailbox much sooner than I expected! Thanks, Djangobooks!

Great rythmn strings ... feel lighter than 11's, but a bit heavy for my asian guitar ...still, sound great and are very playable

I recently bought a Gitane DG255 and have found the Argentine strings are a perfect match, once I got the string gauge correct - ie 10. I´ve also been pleasantly surprised that the strings still retain that "new" sound after hours of playing.

Pros: excellent !

Cons: none!

These strings sound and fell great for many hours of play. The prices are very good and I will keep using them. Thanks Argentine!
