A basic overview of the powerful rest-stroke picking technique used by Django, Stochelo Rosenberg, Biréli Lagrène, Fapy Lafertin, and nearly every other Gypsy guitarist. Additionally, it includes five virtuosic patterns which do not appear in my book Gypsy Picking. Most notably, Stochelo Rosenbergs high speed sweeping lick transcribed from his performance of Bossa Dorado. 5 pages of text and 5 MP3 examples are included. (from my Gypsy Jazz column in Just Jazz Guitar Aug.2004)
