ROLAND PROMOTION: But an AC33 amp and get 8 energizer AA batteries and charger free! Visit Roland Promotions for details.

The Roland AC-33 amp is on the cutting edge of micro-amp technology. The AC-33 is small and light, yet has the power and tonal characteristics you'd expect of much larger amps. The AC33 can run on both AC and battery power, so it's perfect for the musician on the go. An ideal amplifier for street musicians!

The AC-33 is loaded with advanced features

The AC 33 features built-in effects, anti-feedback technology, a phrase looper, and true stereo sound. To accommodate various pickup systems the AC33 includes two separate channels: A 1/4" line level input and and a combination XLR / 1/4" line/mic level input. Each channel has volume, multi-band eq, and effects (chorus and reverb). There is also an aux line in so you can attach a CD/mp3 player. There are stereo line level outputs and a headphone jack.

A small amp with a big sound!

The tone of this amp is surprisingly clean and transparent and compares well to much costlier European made equivalents. It's twin 5" inch speakers are coupled with two 15W amps which produce a surprising amount of volume. Anyone looking for a low cost, practical acoustic amplification solution will not be disappointed! Although designed for use with microphones and acoustic pickups (generally piezo based technologies), the AC33 can also double as a nice micro jazz amp. Sounds warm and fat with magnetic single coil and humbucking pickups.

Nice practice Amp

By: Mike on 01/26/2012 05:30:17 AM

My only complaint about the AC 33 I received is it's not very loud. I have to have both the master volume and the guitar channel volume around 9 or so when playing with friends using the Roland Street Cube and Mini Cube. Volume wise the Street Cube blows it away. I do like the "sound" of the amp. Really nice. I started to return it because of the volume issue but decided the sound was more important than the volume. I can always find a way to up volume when necessary.
